Summary:
Seagen is seeking a Technical Operations (TOPS) Knowledge Management (KM) Sr. Specialist to enhance the TOPS KM team and champion KM theory and methodology across the TOPS organization. This is a dynamic role that will work closely with stakeholders to implement and support business capabilities, tools, and processes that meet the needs of end-users in TOPS.
We are seeking candidates looking to leverage their domain knowledge of the drug development process and industry practices and partner with stakeholders to help improve, facilitate, or develop business tools and processes that enable the capture, management, sharing, and flow of information and knowledge across TOPS. Candidates should be familiar with industry and regulatory expectations and will work with SMEs to align business practices, priorities, and goals.
The initial, primary responsibility will be to design, develop/build, and manage scalable tools and processes to organize TOPS participation in consortia and the sharing of information/knowledge arising from consortia workstreams. This will encompass communication, collaboration, ideation, individual initiative, and technical savvy. Successful candidates are collaborative and comfortable working across the organization with stakeholders of all levels to identify the right solutions.
Creative and innovative use of modern technology to make information and knowledge findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) is highly desirable (i.e., SharePoint design/customization, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Stream, etc.).
Principal Responsibilities:
- Design, develop/build, and manage scalable tools and processes to organize TOPS participation in consortia and the sharing of information/knowledge arising from consortia workstreams.
- Lead, manage projects, or represent TOPS KM on key business committees and initiatives.
- Work with Information Technologies, Enterprise Knowledge Management, Data Science, and other stakeholders to improve, develop, or design practical tools and processes that meet the needs of end-users.
- Build KM capabilities in alignment with end-user business processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and scale processes that align with organizational goals.
- Promote and facilitate engagement where necessary to maintain project progression.
- Manage different stakeholders and arbitrate where necessary to overcome obstacles.
- Make effective use of modern collaboration tools to capture, collaborate and share information and knowledge across TOPS. Collect, organize, and make industry trends and CMC competitive intelligence readily available and consumable.
- Contribute and provide support to TOPS KM goals, strategy, capabilities, and ideas.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and stay abreast of business needs.
- Maintain awareness of industry, regulatory, and KM trends.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in life science or related field with 6+ years in biotech industry or M.S. in library science and 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience leading, project managing, implementing, or contributing to new technologies, business processes, projects, or initiatives
- Good organization skills: ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Independently and intuitively manages collaborations with stakeholders: ability to collaborate with various functions and manage/balance the different needs of stakeholders
- Ability to manage complex assignments and influence without direct authority
- Customer-centric: skillful listener that seeks to understand the needs of end-users and builds capabilities in alignment with end-user business processes
- Comfortable with ambiguity

The hiring pay range for this position is $96,000 to $124,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
