Summary:
The IT Business Systems Analyst will be a key member of the ERP Business Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of test and deployment strategies and solutions needed to support Seagen’s ERP solution. This position will collaborate with ERP business users to plan, manage, and coordinate all testing and deployment activities for ERP projects & enhancements. This individual will work closely with the ERP analysts, developers, and administrators through the complete development life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test strategy, testing procedures, test cases, and defect reporting.
- Coordinate and manage deployment activities for ERP projects and enhancements in a Non-GxP environment.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
- Triage defects during the testing process
- Ensure and track that all testing is completed on time
- Aiding with defining test and evaluation strategy and developing & implementing test processes and best practices
- Manages, organizes, and directs releases that comprise of cross-functional teams, which includes enhancements as well as new releases and upgrades
- Develop and maintain detailed deployment documentation, ensuring dependencies and required tasks are identified and managed accordingly
- Understand and adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as appropriate for the environment
- Work with the ERP business users to manage test plans through a Lifecycle Management solution and to ensure successful testing strategy for Non-GxP testing
- Manage issue and defect resolution that may occur during testing or hypercare
- Develop effective working relationships with our ERP business customers and the ERP Business Solutions Team
- Assists ERP business customers in developing working scenarios for testing
Communicate support issues, solutions, and progress to management
- Provides reports for and across all involved teams
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, business, or life science field
- 7+ years of experience as System Analyst supporting and implementing large scale IT solutions including software deployment, business analysis, project management, process improvement and computer systems validation
- Experience developing and supporting an integrated enterprise level ERP system, preferably Oracle EBS (Supply Chain operations, WMS, Quality) along with third party MES integrations
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience in supporting and implementing large scale IT solutions
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with experience building tactical plans
- Experience in negotiating timelines and deliverables with a strong sense of urgency
- Proven knowledge of IT solutions and application management through various product cycles and business environments
- Ability to prioritize and quickly adapt to changing situations
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Project Management Certification a plus
- MS-Office knowledge (Microsoft project, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Biotechnology or Pharma industries
- Experience with ALM as a Testing Tool
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Experience with Azure Devops

The hiring pay range for this position is $61,000 to $79,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
