Position Summary:

The principal objective of the Supply Chain Site Planning is to ensure an uninterrupted flow of supply to support patient demand. The individual will work closely with our Planning and Logistics teams to coordinate the movement of product throughout the supply chain to support the plan set forth by the Production Planning & Inventory Managers. The individual will contribute to the cross-functional end-to-end supply process and act as the primary contact for product movement. This person will be responsible for issue resolution with Logistics and CMO interactions. Acting as a key interface between Planning, Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing and Financial organizations, this person must be able to build and maintain strong partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Utilize business tools to execute and manage product movement
  • Conduct issue resolution activities for supply shipments
  • Develop strong internal collaboration with Supply managers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Executes timely and accurate transactions in the required systems
  • Monitors work-in-process activities for supply chain batch release to ensure on-time delivery and/or address impact of delays providing direction for prioritization of changes
  • Assists in developing this function within the company, and supporting change management and continuous improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of business
  • Assists in material reservations to ensure compliant product is maintained
  • Responsible for execution of detailed planning requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in supply operations, production and supply planning, and inventory management
  • Desired experience in FDA regulated or multi-plant environment
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal communication, project management, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Preferred experience working with an integrated enterprise level planning system (SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • APICS certification desired
  • Minimal travel (< 5%)
  • Thorough understanding of local compliance, as well as a sound ethical approach to business

Education:

  • BS/BA Degree in a business or scientific field and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management
