Summary:
The Clinical Science Intern in Early/Late-Stage Clinical Development will be responsible for supporting clinical trials within the Early/Late-Stage portfolio. Over the span of the internship, the intern is expected to learn and develop foundational clinical science skills.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire general knowledge of drug development
- Participate and contribute to study management teams (and other sub-teams/working groups) for an assigned molecule, may work across studies
- Learn and assist with medical data review
- Contribute to protocol development and other key trial related documents
- Collaborates with Data Management to ensure all queries submitted to sites by CS have been appropriately addressed
- Processes and participate in regular review and analysis of protocol deviations
- Provide input for clinical presentations (e.g., SIVs, investigator meetings, monitoring committees)
- Provide input for communications with sites including protocol related questions
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare summaries to support clinical development programs
- Provide final presentation on topic of relevance and interest (e.g., review of competitive molecule, review of competitive landscape, review of impactful article, new guidance, etc.)
Qualifications:
- PharmD, PhD (or equivalent degree) in relevant discipline, or ongoing enrollment in advanced science/clinical Degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MSN, MPH, etc.)
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Has a collaborative style with an ability to work effectively with other clinical and scientific leaders within the company
- Demonstrates a passion for helping patients with cancer and for the science of oncology
- Is a team player and works well in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Relevant clinical/scientific experience
Note: This is an onsite, paid internship. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for internships. While housing is not provided by Seagen, we make every effort to connect fellow interns to arrange for joint housing and ride sharing.

The hiring pay range for this position is $20 to $32 per hour based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role.
