Director Global Marketing – PADCEV

Summary

The Director, PADCEV Global Marketing will serve as the Global Marketing lead on multiple pipeline programs for PADCEV. They will lead the development of commercial deliverables and prepare Seagen to ensure a successful global launch and maximize product potentials. This role represents Commercial on Global Product Teams and works closely with Global Market Insights, Development, Regulatory, Research, Medical Affairs and other key stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication skills, clinical acumen, leadership and a proven ability to influence across the organization.

This role reports to the Lead for PADCEV Global Marketing.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the commercial representative on multiple global indication teams
  • Develop global strategy, brand planning, positioning and messaging
  • Develop and deliver insights on external environment, including competitive landscape, market requirements, and unmet medical needs
  • Identify and develop key opinion leaders
  • Seek medical expert insights by arranging and conducting advisory boards
  • Provide commercial feedback to impact formulation and packaging development decisions
  • Work with the Global market insights team to develop forecasting assumptions and models
  • Complete market opportunity assessments and make recommendations on future indications
  • Partner with regional teams to ensure diverse commercial insights brought into development process
  • Partner with Medical Affairs on publication planning and medical education strategies
  • Partner with Market Access and HEOR teams to help develop the value proposition and access/ reimbursement strategies
  • Manage agency of record (AoR) or vendors for the development of content and materials within budget and timelines
  • Effectively transition brands to regional marketing teams in preparation for launch
  • Prepare and present key strategic updates to Senior Management
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with all internal and external partners and stakeholders

Key Deliverables include:

  • Solid Tumor Life Cycle Management
  • Early Bladder commercial strategy development
  • Tactical Execution of key global marketing deliverables
  • Annual Global Brand Planning management with alliance partner

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience
  • Oncology experience, with at least 3 years of marketed brand responsibilities
  • Experience in at least two of the following roles in addition to marketing: strategic planning, market analytics, business development, sales or sales leadership
  • Understanding of the drug development process, especially regarding opportunities for differentiation and value demonstration
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, and act collaboratively
  • Proven team player, particularly with other functions and departments
  • Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong communication skills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, including senior executives
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Ability to travel globally (~20%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters of Business Administration or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Successful launch experience in a competitive market preferred
  • Global marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Preferred candidate will be local to the Bothell, WA area or willing to relocate
